3D Illustration Series, 2018
During the 2013 installment of 36daysoftype, I did dive into creating randomized but pleasing illustrations via automated processes. Little did I know that this kind of procedural generation would not only be used in my private projects but would also become more and more important at work.
There are multiple versions of the first few entries, the initial fluid-like sculpted designs, and then the later refined procedural setup. Nowadays I enjoy the original handmade versions a lot, but when creating the series I was unhappy with how mixed the whole thing turned out.
